GAEL WARNING
Gael Warning performs a broad selection of Celtic-inspired music. There are four members: Gypsy (tin whistle), Nicola (violin), Tony (guitar) and Veronica (double bass). The band's name was chosen with a play on the word Gael as a reference to traditional Celtic culture, but also to acknowledge our ancestors who travelled across the seas, often under perilous conditions, to reach the Australian shores.
The Gael Warning logo was designed and drawn by Tony. It's based on the Irish Meteorological Service (MET éirann) logo, however it has four spirals instead of three, which represents each member of the band. It swirls into one harmonious musical storm!
